Flo Bennett was born in Denver, Colorado and grew up in a musical family. She came to Los Angeles and became a successful singer/actress, and worked in the studios as a demo singer who would record new songs for songwriters to promote. She still occasionally sings at local clubs in Palm Springs, but this is the sole album she recorded under her own name.
This rare album was initiated by requests by her fans. Bennett chose the songs carefully with the help of her songwriter friends. Arrangements were provided by Ernie Freeman, and supporting musicians included John Anderson on trumpet and Plas Johnson on saxophone and flute. Flo Bennett's intimate singing style is very attractive and seductive.
Previously available only in private circulation, this supremely rare, fine album by a great singer is finally made available to the general public!
