In December 2009, Universal Music Japan re-released a series of Frank Sinatra's classic Reprise albums on SHM-CD, a new CD formulation with superior sound quality and playable on all regular CD players. Supervised lovingly by Sinatra Society of Japan, the reissue promises the best possible sound quality and a faithrul reproduction of the original LP's jacket design on their gorgeous paper sleeves.
Swing Along With Me is the second album released by Sinatra's own, newly established label, Reprise. After losing in a law suit brought on by Capitol, they were forced to change the title to Sinatra Swings, but the original title has been reinstated by now. As Capitol claimed, this album was very similar in concept and title to the hit album Come Swing With Me, and with all songs arranged by the great Billy May, it is certainly of equal, if not superior, quality.
