Description:Three Blind Mice Blu-spec CD reissue series! Limited paper sleeve edition!

Motohiko Hino (1946-1999) was one of the greatest Japanese jazz drummers. A younger brother of world famous trumpeter Terumasa Hino, he had insuppressible energy and was known for his powerful, dynamic and emotionally charged drumming. Ryuhyo (Sailing Ice) is considered as a classic, a towering achievement by a Japanese jazz group that will be forever remembered. Recorded live in concert in 1976, it features his incredible quartet with saxophonist Yasuaki Shimizu, guitarist Kazumi Watanabe and and Nobuyoshi Ino on bass, plus a guest tenor saxophonist Mabumi Yamaguchi.

This CD contains two bonus tracks which were not included in the original LP, and all tracks are arranged in the order they were played. This is a powerful and exciting set of modal and post-bop jazz. Recommended!

Produced by Takeshi Fujii. Recorded live at Nemuro Shimin Kaikan on February 7, 1976. Blu-spec CD is compatible with all regular CD players. Paper sleeve special limited edition.
