An original Japanese compilation CD based on Columbia's original masters!
When producers at the Japanese label SSJ Records gained access to the vault of Columbia Records, they came up with an idea when they were thinking about the huge success of Frank Sinatra's duet albums in the 1990s: Why don't we go back to the vault and compile great duet recordings by Sinatra and other stars? The result is this original compilation CD.
Recorded between 1946 and 1951, the featured ":other" singers include Dinah Shore, Doris Day and Rosemary Clooney. Also included are not-strictly-duet songs Sinatra recorded with The Pied Pipers, Helen Carroll & The Swantones, and The Metrone All-Stars.
