He started piano at eight, and graduated from the Royal Academy of Music, Aarhus, in 2004 after studying with legendary jazz pianist Lars Jansson. Always searching for new inspiration and discovering new musical landscapes, Bebe is involved in many different musical projects ranging from jazz and free improvisation to pop and folk music.
His Spice of Life debut CD, A Song For You, is a stunningly beautiful album by his working trio with electric bassist Niels Ryde and drummer Anders Mogensen. In his lyrical pianism Bebe is on a line extended from Bill Evans and Keith Jarrett, but he creates his own musical world, filled with simple, folkloric and melancholic melodies and magical moments created by amazing interplay among the three musicians.
Except for the American folk song "Oh Shenandoah", all compositions are by Bebe. Enhanced by the beautiful sound, this CD will stick to the listener's memory for a long time.
