The first one is D'Accord which features accordion player Alain Bruel in addition to Delaite's trio. The jacket of this CD is an illustration of a cafe in daytime, which reflects the sunny, relaxed feeling of the album.
If there is such a thing as "French-ness" in jazz, this group, especially with the addition of the accordion, epitomizes it. Consisting mostly of well-known standards, the music is sweet, delightful and lightly swinging. This CD will be a perfect company on a Sunday afternoon. Enjoy it with a large cup of cafe latte!
